In the center of the city, at the crossroads of Vytautas and J. Simpsono streets, the Sculpture Park is not only drawing eyes of passers – in the summer it becomes a place for lovers of peaceful rest with family, the little ones or friends.
Visitors to the Sculptures Park can enjoy even 28 sculptures which were handed over to the supervision of Palanga municipality by the Lithuanian Art Museum.
Currently, the Sculpture Park is decorated with works by recognized Lithuanian sculptors like Kazimieras Kisielius, Bronius Vyšniauskas, Leon Strioga, Bronius Zalens, Albertas Donatas Belevicius, Vaclovas Krutinas, Aloyzas Toleikis, Antanas Zukauskas, Daliutas Ona Matulaite. The sculptures of the famous Lithuanian artist Vytautas Kazimieras Jonynas, created in exile, are also exhibited. Exhibitions are also decorated with valuable works by sculptors from Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and Armenia.
